Butterflies fill me as I see your smile The world melts away as you wrap your arms around me How my vision swims when you press your lips to mine Just enjoying each others presence without spoiling it with words Spending hours on the phone and never running out of things to discuss Listening to you laugh, even if my joke made no sense. All of these things represent what love is. It is not a word with a dictionary definition It is implied with memories, woven together like our fingers intertwined. The wind stole away what remaining warmth my body held, but the numbness still lingered in my bones. I dug my hands in the pockets of my jeans to hide the crimson stains from the world. Things like murder were highly frowned upon in society. I let my dark hair fall over my eyes, to hide their abnormality. The only reason I act like a bitch is because you don't ever treat me like a sister. You think that you're constantly allowed to treat me like shit and I'm just going to sit there and take it? Hi, thank you for following, liking or commenting on my work in the past. I really appreciate it when someone takes the time to show their own appreciation for the work I produce. The stuff I have shared on this site now seems extremely far removed from the work I am producing now [several years later] and I have made the decision to leave this site.
